Easy Day hosts small groups who gather in the Sant Aniol Valley for retreats, workshops, trainings, learning programmes and intentional gatherings.
For more than two decades we have supported facilitators, educators and organisations in bringing their work into a place that invites presence, creativity and genuine connection.
Here, the valley itself becomes part of the process.
• experiential learning programmes for schools and universities
• adventure therapy or nature-supported healing programmes
• leadership and team development programmes
• creative workshops and small residencies
• retreats and intentional gatherings
• rock climbing and canyoning courses
Programmes at Easy Day often move between focused work in and around the house and time outdoors in the valley. The rhythm of a day may include structured sessions, shared meals, informal conversations and moments of exploration along the river, forest trails or surrounding cliffs.
Many facilitators appreciate the natural flow this creates. The house provides a welcoming base for reflection, dialogue and creative work, while also becoming a place where groups eat, rest, spend time together and find moments of quiet.
Because the house sits directly beside the river, participants often step outside between sessions to sit by the water, lie on the warm rocks in the sun or take a swim in the clear pools. There is no need to travel anywhere — the valley begins right at the doorstep.
Each group shapes its own rhythm, and we are happy to support facilitators in adapting the use of the spaces and the landscape to the needs of their programme.

Depending on the size and rhythm of their programme, groups move naturally between indoor and outdoor spaces — from the creative lounge and geodesic dome to terraces, fire circle and quiet places along the river.
The Sant Aniol Valley is not simply the setting of Easy Day — it often becomes an active part of the learning environment. Many facilitators integrate time outdoors into their programmes, using the river, forest trails and surrounding terrain as a living extension of their work.
Shared nature and adventure experiences can be remarkably effective in building trust, openness and group cohesion. Engaging with the valley can support attention, embodiment and reflection, while also strengthening friendship and connection within the group.
Experiences such as walking uneven ground, entering the cold river, focusing on a climb or moving along an adventure trail often anchor awareness in the present moment and can shift group dynamics quickly.
You and your group are free to explore the valley independently. Many facilitators integrate simple walks, river time or quiet exploration into their programmes without needing additional guidance.
The landscape itself often becomes a powerful co-facilitator in the learning process.
Where helpful, we can guide groups through the valley. Drawing on decades of experience in canyoning, climbing and outdoor leadership in this landscape, we offer carefully chosen routes and experiences that support the intention of your programme.
Examples include:
• Canyoning and wild swimming
• dry riverbed explorations
• rock climbing and adventure trails
If you wish to integrate nature-based learning more intentionally into your programme, we can work together in designing elements that support your aims and way of working.
Drawing on our intimate knowledge of the valley and more than 30 years of working with diverse groups, we can help facilitators skilfully weave nature experience, adventure and contemplation into their programmes, alongside reflective dialogue and simple practices.
The valley offers many ways to engage and become immersed in the natural surroundings. Depending on the group, tone and intention of a programme, you may choose to integrate simple walks, reflective time in nature or more adventurous activities that invite focus, trust and challenge.
We are happy to help you strike the right balance.
Exploring the valley on foot — from quiet reflective walks to longer journeys through forest and along the river.
Playful exploration through sculpted limestone riverbeds, moving over rocks and natural formations.
A mix of Climbing protected routes along the cliffs (Via Ferrata), exploration and abeiling, inviting focus, challenge and shared support.
Climbing natural rock walls close to the house, learning to trust the rope and support one another — suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers.
Entering a timeless world of water and stone. Equipped with wetsuits, harness and helmets, we move through the canyon by hiking, swimming, sliding, abseiling waterfalls and jumping into crystal-clear rock pools. Routes can be adapted to different levels.
Spending time in the clear turquoise pools of the Sant Aniol river. Wild swimming invites a playful encounter with the water — floating, diving, resting on sun-warmed rocks and returning again and again to the refreshing clarity of the river.
We take safety, care and good judgement seriously. Programmes and group stays at Easy Day are supported by many years of experience in hosting groups, working in the valley and guiding people in outdoor settings.
Programmes that include walking, swimming, climbing or other nature-based activity involve real environmental and physical risks, which we manage through careful preparation, local knowledge, sound judgement and close attention to the group, the conditions and the rhythm of the experience.
Alongside physical safety, we also value emotional well-being. We aim to create an atmosphere of trust, clarity and attentive hosting in which people can settle, participate and feel well looked after.
We do not seek intensity for its own sake. Our role is to help create conditions in which people can engage with confidence, and in a way that respects both individual pace and the wider group process.
When groups stay at Easy Day, we take care of the environment that supports their time together.
We prepare spaces for group work, cook and share meals, and look after the practical details that allow facilitators to focus on their programme. At the same time, Easy Day is not a hotel or retreat resort. It is a living place, and the experience is often co-created in simple and natural ways.
Groups quickly become part of the rhythm of the house. Participants usually wash their own dishes, lend a hand when something needs doing, and take care of the spaces they use. This shared participation creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that many people appreciate.
Accommodation combines simple indoor rooms with glamping tents and a small campsite beside the river. Depending on the size and character of the group, programmes often use a combination of these options.
Meals are prepared in our kitchen and shared in the dining room or on the patio overlooking the valley. Our food is primarily vegetarian, simple and nourishing, designed to support both time outdoors and focused group work.
We do our best to keep the house and its surroundings welcoming and beautiful. Like any place that is lived in and used actively, it is an ongoing process, and the care of the place is something we share with the groups who come here.
If you feel that Easy Day could be a good setting for your work, we would be happy to explore possibilities with you and think together about how we might support your programme.
