PARTNER WITH US

Easy Day is not only a place to host programmes. It is also a place of learning shaped by decades of experience in outdoor education, facilitation and nature-based learning.

We collaborate with educators, universities, organisations, programme leaders and travel providers to design and host learning experiences in the Sant Aniol Valley.

This page offers an overview of our learning approach and the different ways others can work with us.

OUR LEARNING APPROACH

At Easy Day, learning is understood as an integrative process of direct experience and reflective understanding. Programmes move between immersive time in nature, shared activity, dialogue and quiet reflection. In navigating these different modes of engagement, nature and adventure serve as catalysts that allow insights to move from the head into body and heart.

ACTIVITY & ADVENTURE

Learning begins in lived experience — through movement, shared activity and emotion, nature and the body.

DIALOGUE & INQUIRY

Conversation, reflection and inquiry help participants make sense of experience and explore it more deeply — together and in context.

SILENCE & CONTEMPLATION

Learning begins in lived experience — through movement, shared activity and emotion, nature and the body.

INSIGHT & INTEGRATION

Conversation, reflection and inquiry help participants make sense of experience and explore it more deeply — together and in context.

ARRIVING & CULTURE OF LEARNING

In all the programmes we design and facilitate, we place great importance on how a group arrives and how a shared learning culture begins to form. Early activities and simple practices help establish openness, deep listening, mutual respect and a spirit of exploration without right or wrong answers.

NATURE & ADVENTURE AS PART OF LEARNING

Nature plays an important role in this process. The valley invites attention, physical presence and a slowing down of habitual mental patterns. Experiences such as walking uneven ground, entering the cold river, focusing on a climb or sitting quietly by the water can anchor awareness in the present moment and open space for new insight.

At the same time, conversation, cultural context and thoughtful practices help participants make sense of their experiences. Dialogue allows individual insights to become shared understanding, and shared understanding can give rise to new ways of relating to ourselves, to one another and to the living world.

In this way, learning becomes not only a matter of understanding, but also of experience, relationship and presence.

TWO DIMENSIONS OF EXPERIENCE

At the heart of our work is the recognition that human beings live on two interconnected levels. We invite participants to explore the full spectrum of their being—from the richness of the relative person, with its stories and psychology, to the deeper ground of awareness that exists beneath thought and identity.

When both dimensions are explored consciously, the perceived separation between self and world begins to dissolve, giving rise to a natural sense of peace, clarity and response-ability.

WHAT THIS CAN SUPPORT

Depending on the context and the group, this approach can support:

  • self-awareness and clarity

  • trust and connection within the group

  • listening, communication and relational skills

  • a stronger sense of belonging and responsibility

  • reflection, presence and insight

  • a more conscious relationship with the natural world

WHO WE WORK WITH

We work with a wide range of people and organisations who are looking for more than a venue.

Young
People, Schools & Universities

We design and host learning experiences that complement school and university education, often working with young people between the ages of 16 and 27. These programmes often focus on well-being, life skills, identity, belonging and the development of attention through direct experience in nature.

Adults,
Teams & Organisations

We also work with adults, teams and organisations seeking nature-based learning processes, reflective trainings and shared experiences that support communication, self-understanding, well-being and a more conscious relationship with the wider world.

Facilitators, Coaches & Therapists

Some collaborations are shaped together with facilitators, coaches and therapists who wish to bring groups into the valley and work with a place that supports reflection, presence and meaningful group process.

Educational &
Travel Partners

We also collaborate with organisations and travel providers who wish to create thoughtful educational, cultural or adventure-based journeys for groups in the Sant Aniol Valley.

HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER

Depending on the group and the intention of the programme, our role can be very light or more actively involved.

Hosting

We provide the place, practical support and attentive hosting, allowing facilitators and programme leaders to focus on their work.

Guided Experiences

We can guide groups in the valley through hiking, climbing, canyoning, wild swimming or quieter forms of nature-based exploration, including guided meditations and wilderness solos.

Co-Design

We collaborate with educators, organisations and programme leaders to shape learning experiences that draw on the place, the valley and our broader learning approach.

Facilitation

Where appropriate, we also take a more active role in holding and facilitating the process, supporting reflection, dialogue and the integration of experience.

SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY

At Easy Day, we take safety, responsibility and good judgement seriously. Our work is shaped by many years of experience in outdoor education, facilitation and hosting groups in the valley.

When programmes include walking, climbing, swimming, canyoning or other nature-based activity, these are approached with careful preparation, local knowledge, appropriate equipment and ongoing attention to the group, the conditions and the wider context of the programme.

We work with qualified guides and facilitators and adapt activities to the abilities, needs and pace of each group. Staff and activities are covered by professional liability insurance.

At the same time, we recognise that outdoor learning can never be entirely without risk. For us, safety is not only a matter of managing hazards, but of creating a culture of trust, attentiveness, clear communication and shared responsibility in which meaningful learning can take place.

LET'S EXPLORE POSSIBILITIES

If you feel that Easy Day could be a good fit for your work, we would be happy to explore possibilities with you and think together about how we might collaborate.
